Estimation of land at PLA ’20 -’25

The corn that is used for the production of PLA is not edible, however PLA is also obtained from the waste from the processing of sugar cane. In the world, the land cultivated with crops of this type is about 1.4 billion hectares of this immense “arable” territory only 1% will be dedicated to the production of BIOPlastic from 2020 to 2021.
